OurPact's iOS Web Filter limits access to 'adult' content on all browsers on iOS child devices (eg. Safari, Chrome, and even in-app browsers like the ones used by Facebook or Instagram). This feature does not block specific websites, but our team is planning to add the ability to white/blacklist URLs in a future update to the application. The Web Filter is currently available on the Premium subscription tier and is not available for use on the Android parent app or the web app at app.ourpact.com.
To use the Web Filter:
- Launch or sign into OurPact on your parent iOS device
- Navigate to your child's profile
- Tap the globe icon at the bottom left of your child's profile image
- Toggle 'Block Adult Content' ON
Note: OurPact's Web Filter does not extend blocking to YouTube since YouTube has their own filters. If YouTube is a concern for your family, we encourage you to install YouTube Kids and YouTube on your child's device. Then, in your child's AppRules tab in your parent app, set YouTube to be 'Always Blocked'. If your child does access the youtube.com URL, most content should be filtered.
