It would be great if we could view browser history!
Thanks for sharing this feedback, Claire! We have a lot of great improvements for the Web Filter in the pipeline, including Browser History. Stay tuned!
Any update on this? As far as I can tell your app is blocking dictionary.com which my daughter uses to help with her homework. I was unable to find a way to unblock this.
Also, something is wrong with your helpdesk. I was only able to login with Firefox. Both Chrome and Safari failed, giving me 403's when I tried to register my account and complaining about cookies not being allowed (but they are).
Hi Bryan! We are coming out with an update next week which will allow you to set "blacklisted" and "whitelisted" URLs. Once this update is live, you will be able to whitelist the dictionary site. (In the meantime, you could have your daughter install the Dictionary app and set it as "Always Allowed" in her AppRules list.)
We'd love to learn more about this issue with HelpDesk - if you can send an email to support@ourpact.com sharing details about what specifically you were trying to access (ie. this Knowledge Base from the "Support" link on our website, or contacting Support from within the application), that would be very helpful. Thank you!
I want to create Schedules for individual Allowances for specific apps. For instance I would like to Schedule to Allow App 1 for 1 hour a day. In addition I would like to Schedule to Allow App 2 for 1 hour a day. At the same time I want to keep App 1 and App 2 blocked during my Scheduled Blocks, ie; Bedtime and Homework Time. I have the Premium subscription to OurPact.
It doesn't appear that the web filtering is functioning on my child's device. I've disabled Apple's content filtering and added netflix.com to the blocked sites but my daughter's phone is still able to open and use Netflix on her device. Is this a similar issue as related to the YouTube discussion above? I have the premium subscription to Our Pact
Hi Bryan D.,
The Web Filter is separate from application management, so even if netflix.com is added to the Blacklist in Web Filter, the Netflix mobile app would still be available. You can set Netflix to be "Always Blocked" or "Blocked by Schedule" within your child's App Rules list to resolve this issue.
