My child's device is blocked after upgrading and OurPact Jr. is not installed

If View was enabled before OurPact Jr. was installed, your child's iOS device will remain in a blocked state. Since this feature relies on OurPact Jr. to communicate with your child's device, OurPact Jr. must first be installed.

If you confirm this is the case, please follow these steps (with your child's device in hand):

1. Disable the View toggle in your OurPact parent app

2. Send a 15-minute timed GRANT from your child’s dashboard

3. Ensure your child’s device has an internet connection

4. In your parent app, tap the menu icon > Devices > Select your child’s device > Install OurPact Jr.

5. Launch OurPact Jr. on your child’s device, once the installation is complete and accept any prompts

6. Launch your child’s iOS Settings > OurPact Jr. > Location > ALWAYS

It's important to remember that - so long as View is enabled - your child’s iOS device will automatically block. To unblock their iOS device (and allow View to work properly), your child must enable “Start Broadcast” in their OurPact Jr app.
