Please ensure your child's device is connected directly to the computer (not to a hub), then try again. |
Samsung Galaxy Tab A - Kids Edition |
You must set the device in "Charge Only" mode to enable the USB debugging trust prompts. |
LG K20 Plus on Android 7.0 |
If the location is already enabled on the device, OurPact Jr. will upload GPS location although the device object indicates that the device_location_active = null (initially, then transitions to false) The device_location_active will correctly set after toggling the location setting on the device. (This causes a false positive 'Enable Location Services/GPS on: {model}' notification on the Family Locator Map in the web app. (probably on iOS Parent as well.) |
Huawei *Possibly impacts other device types |
You cannot enable usb debugging while signed into "guest"/non-owner accounts on the device. Please ensure you are signed into the device owner role, then try again to enable USB debugging. |
Moto E5 Go |
You need to enable GPS location before the device location can connect via locator, after device ownership https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-222363/ |
LG Devices |
You will need to enable the 'USB Tethering' option in Settings to get USB debugging to connect. |
