OurPact offers the option to create an account using your Google or Apple Single Sign-On (SSO) instead of using a traditional email and password login.
SSO allows customers to securely access multiple accounts with one login, eliminating the need to remember multiple passwords.
How will I know if I created my account with an email and password or SSO?
In your OurPact app Settings, you will see your account email at the top. If you have the option to change your password and email, then you created your account with a traditional email/password account.
If you do not see these options, then you created your account using SSO.
Apple SSO provides the option to hide your email using a Private Relay email. This will hide your email from accounts that sign in with your Apple SSO and instead create a random email address linked to your iCloud account. When using a private relay, the relay address will display in your Account settings, not your Apple account ID.
If you try to log in with an email and password, using your SSO email, you will see an error stating "We do not recognize your email and/or password. Please try again."
If you created your account using SSO and want to change your account email, please email our Support team at support@ourpact.com so our team can help.
