How do I add or edit a Place?

Creating or editing a new Place in your parent app is easy to do!

Please follow the appropriate instructions below in your parent OurPact app to create a new place:

1. Tap the family locator map from your OurPact dashboard.
2. Tap the Settingsicon. ​
3. Tap Places.
4. Tap thesign to add a new place.
5. ​Tap the Place Name field. Name the location (e.g., School).
6. Enter and select the address associated with this place. If you have granted OurPact permission to your contacts, you can also search for your contacts' addresses using their name or phone number.
7. Drag and drop the geofence to ensure your location is within its perimeter.  To adjust the geofence size and location, pinch the map and zoom in/out or pan around the map.
8. Tap Advanced to select the child profiles that you would like this Place to apply to.
   • You must choose at least one child profile in order to save a Place.
9. Tap on/off notification preferences for Leaving and Entering the geo-fence.
   • At least one notification must be enabled.
10. SAVE

You can also tap theicon at the top of your Family Locator map to go directly to your Places list.

To edit an existing Place, please follow the appropriate instructions below:

1. Sign in to your OurPact parent app
2. Navigate to the Family Locator feature
3. Tap the Settingsicon. ​​
4. Tap Places
5. Tap the place you want to edit
   • Edit the Place as preferred and select the appropriate child profile(s) for the Place. (Tap on Advanced to see your children's profiles)
6. SAVE
