How do I add or edit a Place?

Creating or editing a new Place for location notifications is easy to do!

Please follow the instructions below in your OurPact parent app to create a new place:

1. Tap the family locator map on your OurPact dashboard or the Locator icon at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the Locator icon at the top right of your Family Locator map.
3. ​Tap the Place Name field. Name the location (e.g., School).
4. Enter and select the address associated with this place. If you have granted OurPact permission to your contacts, you can also search for your contacts' addresses using their name or phone number.
5. Drag and drop the geofence to ensure your location is within its perimeter. To adjust the geofence size and location, pinch the map and zoom in/out or pan around it.
6. Tap Advanced to select all child profiles you would like this Place to apply to.
   • You must choose at least one child profile to save a Place.
7. Tap on/off notification preferences for Leaving and Entering the geofence.
   • At least one notification must be enabled.
8. SAVE

To edit an existing Place, please follow the appropriate instructions below:

1. Tap the family locator map on your OurPact dashboard or the Locator icon at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the Settings  icon.
3. Tap Places
4. Tap the place you want to edit
   • Edit the Place as preferred and select the appropriate child profile(s) for the Place. (Tap on Advanced to see your children's profiles)
5. SAVE
