We do not recommend using both a VPN and OurPact's MDM profile as issues can arise if your child’s device is managed by both since they each have what you could consider ‘conflicting interests’.
VPN networks manipulate the flow of data and internet connectivity to separate applications on mobile devices, whereas MDM networks – which is how OurPact enables you to manage your child’s device remotely – relies on a consistent internet connection and reliable stream of data from applications.
Since OurPact requires a solid and consistent internet connection in order to facilitate communication between parent and child devices, a VPN network that can tamper with the device connections will undeniably impact OurPact functionality.
To prevent any issues, we strongly encourage you to remove any ‘VPN’ management from your child’s device by navigating in the device to Settings > General > VPN.
