Pairing with OurPact's Connect pairing application is quick and easy; because each family has different hardware and/or software for their devices, these tips will help to have the smoothest pairing experience with Connect.
- If possible, use a USB port on your computer, not a USB hub.
- Make sure that the cable you are using to connect your child's device is a data cable and not just a charging cable.
- The factory cable that comes with the device will be a data cable.
- If using a Windows computer to pair your child’s iOS device, you will need to have iTunes installed and open.
- Before starting the pairing process, check that both your computer and your child’s device do not have any pending updates.
- Create a backup of the device in iCloud or using Google One.
- Check that your child’s device has available storage (OurPact management does not use a significant amount of storage on your child’s device.)
