If you are attempting to pair your child's Samsung or Google Pixel device and you receive an error message on the final page stating that your child's Android device is not compatible with OurPact, we apologize for this error. These devices are compatible with OurPact's management.
You can click here if you are uncertain if your child has a compatible Android device model.
Currently, OurPact cannot pair devices with Family Link enabled or devices associated with a child's Google account (13 years or younger). Because Google child accounts are linked and managed by their parent’s account, this prevents OurPact from taking device ownership and installing management.
To pair your child's device with OurPact, you will temporarily remove all Google accounts from the phone. Once pairing is completed with Connect, you can re-add the Google accounts.

If you are still experiencing this issue after following these steps, please follow the instructions below to collect the necessary information for our Support Team.
Mac/Linux Users:
1.) Click the link to download the GetAndroidDeviceOwner.sh script from OurPact
2.) Make the script executable
- i.) Open the Terminal application by pressing 'Cmd + space' then typing Terminal
- ii.) Type the following commands and press Enter:
cd ~/Downloads
then
chmod +x GetAndroidDeviceOwner.sh
./GetAndroidDeviceOwner.sh > connect-debug.log2>&1
Windows Users:
1.) Click the link to download the GetAndroidDeviceOwner.bat script from OurPact
2.) Run the script with logging:
- i.) Click on the Start menu, type
cmd, right-click onCommand Prompt, and select Run as administrator. - ii.) If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click Yes to allow the Command Prompt to run as administrator.
- iii.) In the Command Prompt window, type the following commands:
cd %USERPROFILE%\DownloadsGetAndroidDeviceOwner.bat > ./connect-debug.log 2>&1
